Sunday happenings

We traveled to my parents town to watch the Gilbert Temple dedication while Ashlee babysat the three younger kids. Here we are just after the services Papa, Nona, Quinton Declan, Eddy and me.

After lunch we traveled out to the cemetery to bury my grandpa who passed away in November.

Quinton digs.

We all took turns digging.

McCoy digs.

Archer digs.

Zaynzley digs.

Nona digs for the first in her life! Really.

Papa had to break up the very rocky soil with this sharp pole.

McCoy brings back Zaynzley from the desert.

Archy tests out the hole.

We prepare to bury grandpa Agle.

Temporary marker untill we get the headstone in place. It was a really beautiful day and the sky was amazing with large puffy clouds and a brilliant turquoise sky.  It was so nice to be able to have grandpa buried close to us so we can visit him. Having grown up in the western U.S.  all my life I find the vast wide open spaces beautiful.  The mesquite bush smells amazing after it rains. The cemetery is up on a hill and has a lovely view of the mountains. My mother's siblings also received remains to do with as seemed fitting to them. It was really nice for all of them to have that gift. We sure miss grandpa he was the most darling man and so very kind. We miss him.
