A Visit to the Germaine's for FHE

After school on Monday, we traveled the forty-five miles to the Germaine's to have FHE and dinner together. It is a really beautiful time of year here now with the days in the seventies and the nights in the fifties.  We try to enjoy it while it last because all to soon
Summer Is Coming!

Papa and Zaynzley discuss the bee that just went into the soda Pa is holding for her. She was quite fascinated by the bees coming and going.

We all feasted upon pizza some liked to eat it while swinging. Nona had this swing custom made so adults and kids could swing on it. Right behind it is a steep drop off that would be perfect for a slide to go down to the bottom of the little hill. Wouldn't that be a fun way for Pa to travel down to the store!

Getting to the swings was no mean feat it required wading through the winter tundra.

She made it and enjoyed a good swing.

The boys decided to hike up the very steep hill.

Declan made it to the top first.

Because Quinton was a sweetheart and helped Archy up to the top.

Ashlee helped Zany up halfway.

The boys celebrate their accomplishment.

Here's the view of them without zoom they are
the wee cluster at the top of the hill right in the center.

Here they are on a ridge halfway down.

We had such a fun time! The boys (including Pa and Eddy) had another xploderz war this was their third war.  They shot up all the remaining ammo. Eddy complained that Dec, Coy, and Arch were getting to Baghdad on him hiding behind stuff and then popping out to shot and running away. Pa just sat on the swing happily shooting any and  all.  They really look forward to there shoot outs and no injuries to report. Now to just track down some more ammo!
