We gathered for our traditional corn beef and cabbage dinner. I picked up the hats at the dollar store today and they really make the dinner memorable. Eddy made this dinner and it was really good. The kids were looking forward to it all day.
I have been saving this dress for two years and she is finally big enough to wear it.
The hat about swallowed Archy but he wears it with style
We had corned beef the more expensive cut and it was much better not fatty at all. Eddy made mashed potatoes, carrots and parsnips, sauteed cabbage and buttered peas. We also had Irish Potato bread made in the bread machine and it was really good.
What is this a letter left by a Leprechaun?
McCoy reads a clue to find the Leprechaun's gold.
Eddy and Archy find a clue in a book which leads to another clue.
Archy finds a clue in the fridge that sends everyone outside.
The treasure is found!
I made up a little limerick and had clues that lead to seven other clues that eventually took them to the treasure. They all took turns finding and reading the clues. In the end they found gold covered candy (almond roca).
Poor Archy is swarmed! I wasn't sure if everyone would like almond roca but they did and they wadded up the wrappers to make leprechaun's gold. It was a fun and easy activity Hope you found something lucky on St. Patty's Day!
