Meet McCoy

Introducing the sweetest Hufflepuff of them all:
                           McCoy Commodore Carlton
His name follows the formula we have used for the boys (Quinton is the exception as he took his grandfathers and fathers names as the first born) where the first three letters of the first name are also the intials: MCC: McCoy Commodore Carlton. The middle name Commodore comes from Eddy's great grandfather Byron Commodore Carlton.

McCoy was the easiest newborn, baby, toddler, preschooler, kindergartener, first grader; you could imagine! He is such an even keeled little guy and such a pleasure to be around. He radiates a calming vibe and loves to give hugs. McCoy is in first grade this year and really loves school. He looks
forward to library day each week and is pictured above reading his pick for this week Big Nate. Ever since McCoy was little he has loved to color and draw in fact when he was three he would sit at the table quietly coloring for hours.

McCoy just drew and colored this picture of a castle.

He drew this picture for me and colored the house green and yellow just like our house is painted.

McCoy has the neatest handwriting (doesn't get that from me)

This is his favorite stuffed animal the Bandit Monkey Cowboy.

McCoy loves to throw things (see pink thing in air)

He can also do tricks on the trampoline

It is really hard to get a hufflepuff to commit to admitting a favorite just ask Nona (Carol) I try all the time to get her to tell her favorites about things. With much effort I was able to drag a few out of McCoy.

Favorite Superhero: Flash Gordon
Favorite Candy: Bubble Gum
Favorite Food: Pizza
Favorite Free Time Activity: Playing with toys
What would you do with a $100.00? I would buy stickers.
His first memory: My three year old birthday party where I had chocolate cake.
What do you want to be when you grow up? Artist
Who is your best friend? Wally
Where will you go on your mission? Michigan
What day would you want to relive in your life? Saturday
What thing would you like to do that you haven't done yet? Draw a picture of the universe

McCoy from a young age has been very logical and practical about things.  He is a thinker and has surprisingly correct answers to a variety of question that are usually asked by Declan.  A funnier example Declan asked, "Why isn't Ashlee a Mormon? McCoy answered, "Because she is a vegetarian."
He really is such a sweet generous soul and is immediately repentant if he ever gets in trouble (which is rare).  We are so glad to have McCoy in our family!

  1. I couldn't agree more. Every big family needs a "McCoy" in it.
