Eddy, helpful guy that he is, did a nice thing for someone and they gave him a twenty dollar gift card to Dairy Queen. He declared he was taking the whole family to Dairy Queen and everyone could get there own thing (pretty much unheard of in this family) and not have to share. You should have heard the cheering! We accordingly loaded up and headed to DQ. On the way we discussed what everyone was planning to get to make ordering easier we decided the kids should all get a mini blizzard. They got to pick whatever kind they wanted.
Ah, the bliss of that first taste! Quinton got chocolate cookie dough.
Declan got vanilla with Reese's peanut butter cup.
McCoy got chocolate with Oreo cookie.
Archy got the same as McCoy.
Zany got vanilla with M&M's. This was her first ever blizzard and she loved it and did a pretty good job eating it.
If I go to DQ I usually get a small hot fudge sundae with pecans but since this was a special occasion I tried the brownie oreo sundae but I switched the oreo for pecans. The pecans at DQ are quite salty so they taste really good with the sweet ice cream. Eddy got a medium blizzard that was choco cherry a surprising choice he usually gets a chocolate mint oreo blizzard. I don't think the car has ever been so quiet with everyone in it. Archy was so cute wanting to try Declan's if Declan wanted to try his. Thanks Eddy for being such a nice guy! This trip only cost us twenty five cents due to the fabulous gift card!
