Swimming at the College Pool

We rarely go to the local college pool since we are paying members of our neighborhood pool but our ward (church group) had a party there so the kids got to go off the high dive. They were very excited about getting to jump off it. Declan was the brave one who went first, of course, but McCoy was right behind him literally when come to find out he isn't suppose to step foot on the ladder until the previous jumper has gone off. Whoops. Zany looks on from below.

Bon voyage, Declan

Enjoying the view

Archy had never jumped off a high dive and I thought for sure he would change his mind and turn back but he went through with it. Sadly, I didn't get a good picture and the life guard informed me Archy couldn't go off the high dive with a floaty on. So this was his only time going off of it.

Archy climbing for the big jump

Archy was quite content with jumping off the low dive. He has taken to plugging his nose whenever he jumps into the pool. I am not sure when that started but I am guilty of doing the same thing to this day. I think I was Archy's age when I started doing it.

Quinton cannonballs it

Nice entry

Quinton was a sweetie and took Zaynzley swimming for a bit.

Quinty and Zany
(we could no longer call him Quinty when he went to kindergarten
he insisted on being called Quinton ever after)

Eddy rocks the cannonball

Zany watching all the brothers go off the diving boards decides she wants to try but once she got on she realized maybe this time it would just be the boys jumping off and she retreats.

Zany considers going off Eddy waiting to catch her.

What would summer be like without swimming?!
