We have been in a pretty bad drought all year long and we never got last summer's water restrictions lifted. So we are pretty grateful for any drop of rain that falls our way. Any rain is cause for celebration! We have been having some great storms lately and it makes us a little rain crazy around here. What do you do when your rain crazy? Why you go outside and enjoy it; some rain even inspires dancing!

My favorite thing to do when it rains is to sit on the back porch and watch the rain and lightening. I also love counting the seconds until I hear the thunder. While I sit on the back porch I am in the storm but nice and dry. I also watch my kids go rain crazy in the back yard. It's the best thing about summer besides trying to sleep in, that is (no, Zany you don't need pretzels at 6:30 a.m.).
