What They Wore-blue with a pop of red & lime

Another quick photo after church so one of them already discarded socks and shoes-Zany.  Grandma Parke made Zany this cute red dress that was so darling on Zaynzley.  She really likes these dresses as they are loose and comfortable.

As I am the nursery leader I decided we as a nursery (church class for kids age eighteen months to three years) needed some more active play and so I gathered up all our soft balls and we had a game of dodgeball.  It was a hit and no one cried or got hurt.  We may have to play again next week. I have also been trying to teach them duck, duck, goose and ring around the rosy.  It is quite a bit of fun to be a nursery leader.

Left to Right: Quinton, Zany, McCoy, Archy & Declan

If you leave your camera unattended you may end up with some surprising photos.

Crazy Coy

Creepy Dec

A year or two ago they read a letter in church that basically said children should bear their own testimony without help. I made that my rule. This Sunday was the Sunday much anticipated by Declan who bears his testimony every fast Sunday. Archy really wanted to go up in front of the congregation and share his feelings but I told him he had to do it by himself and I helped him practice a few times while we were sitting in the pew.  He bravely walked up by himself and when it was his turn this is what he said:
"Thankful for this day. Church is true, Book of Mormon True. Church true. Amen."
He said his testimony with his eye closed but sometimes peaking.
It was so cute (so says his mama)!
