Once a year all the scouts in our scouting troop go on a five day trip called a Super Activity. This year Quinton's troop went to Roosevelt Lake for a couple days and rode on rafts pulled by a boat and swam. They also worked on the canoe merit badge. Eddy went to this part of the trip. They also went on a big, brutal hike up a mountain and it was really hot and they ran out of water but they made it back safely.

They then travel to a Meteor Crater in Flagstaff, AZ. It is the best preserved meteor crater in the world. They camped in Flagstaff for two days and enjoyed much cooler weather.

After Flagstaff, they came back through Phoenix where they stopped at a waterpark, Big Surf, and enjoyed waterslides and getting clean, I suppose, after a few days of camping without showers. The went to dinner at Texas Roadhouse and Quinton arrived home tired and sunburned. We are glad to have him back!
