Fathers and Sons=Sisters Weekend

That yearly holiday of overnight camping for the boys and men called Father & Sons Campout has just occurred.  They celebrate the restoration of the Priesthood by camping out and having a special program.  Quinton got to speak in the program about Joseph Smith.  Eddy said he did a good job.
Eddy, Quinton, Declan, McCoy and Archer headed for higher ground about 30 minutes away.  Eddy thought it would be easier to take a open trailer and just sleep on that instead of dragging out our vintage travel trailer.  It was a good plan except it was unseasonable cool and really windy.  The boys bailed on the trailer and instead slept in the Yukon.  Poor Eddy and Declan froze on the trailer and hardly got any sleep.

On a happy note Archer did find an Easter Egg with a dollar's worth of change in it.  It must have been overlooked for the last month or so at the campground.  Archy was all smiles!
Fathers and Sons is an exhausting experience for them.  They have been lumps all day. In fact they even go to bed early without complaint.  The boys weren't near as dirty as they usually are either since they didn't have a fire.

This is a post without pictures because without being expressly told to no father or son will take pictures of a campout.  So fittingly this post about a man campout is without pictures.
Ashlee and I had long spoke of having a sister weekend and with the menfolk gone thought it would be a perfect time to do it.  We decided to take the opportunity to go to Tucson with wee Zaynzely in tow (more about that later)!
